SUPPORT GRANTS
Our support grants improve the quality of life of individuals and their families who are coping with challenges. These challenges may be health or welfare related and be getting in the way of individuals rebuilding their lives, perhaps after meningitis has struck, or preventing children or young people from getting involved in sport or other activities which can build their confidence and enable them to achieve more in the future. A small amount of funding can make an enormous difference to people.

CRITERIA
GEOGRAPHIC
Only people resident in the Greater Manchester area are eligible to apply for a grant
AGE
Sometimes age isn't just a number! We aim to help change the lives of those who can't change it themselves, meaning younger applicants may be considered over older. However, we do review all applications so don't be disheartened.
WHO
Any individual or organisation can apply for a grant but the grant must be to benefit a disadvantaged person or group of people who meet the age range criteria (in this context, “disadvantaged” means someone with physical or learning disabilities, or is socially or financially deprived).
QUALITY OF LIFE
Any grant application must clearly demonstrate how it will improve the quality of life of the beneficiary (e.g. improved emotional welfare, self-belief, social inclusion, independence, social acceptance).
